NHAI invites global EOIs to develop a GNSS-based electronic toll collection system in India to integrate it within the existing FASTag framework. The system uses RFID technology for automatic toll deduction, eliminating the need for cash lanes, and supports both pre-paid accounts and post-paid billing.
