Under the FAME II guidelines, electric two-wheelers that retails above Rs 1.5 lakhs ex-showroom, are not eligible for benefits under the Rs 10,000 crore programme. After coming under MHI’s scanner, Ola Electric, Ather Electric, TVS Motor and Hero Vida were found to have allegedly mispriced their products to get the subsidy benefits.
