Live: MVA takes out protest march against 'insult' to Shivaji Maharaj, Phule

A large number of supporters have gathered in Mumbai for opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi's (MVA) 'Halla Bol' protest march against the Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra. The MVA allies Shiv Sena (UBT), Nationalist Congress Party and Congress is taking out the 'morcha' (protest march) against the 'injustice' meted out to Maharashtra, 'insults' of the state's icons and 'atrocities' against Marathi-speakers in border areas of Karnataka as well as industrial projects being taken out of the state. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also organised counter-protest 'Maafi Mango' demanding apology from the MVA for 'insulting' Dr B R Ambedkar and Hindu deities.
