iPhone Supplier Foxconn Appoints Former TSMC, SMIC Executive as Semiconductor Strategy Officer

Apple supplier Foxconn on Tuesday said that it had hired Chiang Shang-yi, who previously worked at Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC and Chinese chipmaker SMIC, as its semiconductor strategy officer. Foxconn has been expanding into semiconductors to diversify its business in recent years.
