MP's Cheetah project: Funds dry up as Namibia dallies on MoU

The Madhya Pradesh government is fast running out of funds for the world's first intercontinental cheetah translocation project, where 20 of the endangered species are to be introduced in Kuno National Park.Around Rs 50 crore that was promised by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) - a major contributor to the project - has been stalled as the Namibian government is dilly dallying on signing the MoU, say sources.
