Parkinson's disease is a disorder of the nervous system that affects the movement. In this disorder the dopamine producing neurons of the brain are affected. When dopamine levels decrease in the brain, abnormal brain activity, leading to impaired movement is seen in an individual and this is one of the major symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
