The Supreme Court on Thursday granted interim bail to Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan in a cheating case relating to Kotwali police station in Uttar Pradesh. However, the court has asked the SP leader to apply for regular bail. The court invoked Article 142 to grant relief to Khan in view of peculiar facts of the case.
