New strain of fungus poses huge risk to lives; 2 patients die at AIIMS-Delhi

Doctors at the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences have confirmed the presence of a drug resistant pathogen called Aspergillus lentulus in two patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) admitted to the hospital recently. Both died during treatment.
