Since its worst drubbing in Punjab in 2017, the Shiromani Akali Dal has changed partners and avowed its panthic roots. The party exited the ruling alliance at the Centre over the soon-to-be-repealed farm laws. With assembly polls round the corner, party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal says they will not get back with BJP. The former deputy CM also claims resource constraints will not hinder growth if Akalis come to power.
