India reports 18,166 new Covid-19 cases, 214 deaths

India reported 18,166 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest single day rise in nearly seven months. The country also reported 214 deaths in a span of 24 hours, the Union health ministry said on Sunday. The current recovery rate is 97.99%, highest since March 2020.
