The Centre on Wednesday complied with Supreme Court's order to allow the induction of female candidates in the National Defence Academy (NDA). The Centre added that the decision was taken after consultation with the three service chiefs. We are extremely glad to know that armed forces themselves took the decision to induct females in NDA, the top court said while lauding the government's move.
