Cong breaks yet another alliance after election defeat

On the one hand the Congress has been trying to unite the opposition and bring them under one umbrella against the ruling BJP-led NDA at the centre for the 2024 Lok Sabha election but on the other, it is seen parting ways with the alliance partners with which it had contested assembly elections in the past.
