WhatsApp Reportedly Working on Option to View Status Update by Tapping Profile Picture

WhatsApp has released a new Android beta version 2.21.17.5 update. The update suggests that the instant messaging app is working on the ability to view status updates by tapping the user’s profile picture. This is still under development.
