NASA's Voyager 2 Probe Travels Beyond Heliosphere in Longest Running Mission

Voyager 2 was launched in 1977, just before Voyager 1, and both have travelled well beyond their original destinations: Jupiter and Saturn, stretching their four-year lifespan into 41 years.
