Punjab blast: Devotee attacked assailants with brick, but they fled

An eyewitness who was on gate duty at the Nirankari Bhawan told TOI that two motorcycle-borne youth with covered faces came to the gate, asked about the function and took the guard inside on gun-point where they lobbed the grenade at the congregation and fled. One of the Nirankari followers tried to pick a brick to attack the assailants, but devotees had caused a stampede in panic.
